Right now all I feel is numb. For the next few days I'll have many things that I need to do, places I'll need to go, choices I'll need to make. After she's been laid to rest, I know it will hit me, and I'll realize she's gone forever. One thing that keeps me going is that even though she's gone, her love for me and her family will never die.
Those of you who've talked to me know I'm an optimistic person, and I know that with time I'll be better, but for now, yeah, just numbness.
For any of you who've ever lost a loved one, my heart goes out to you. If you haven't yet, count your blessings and love those close to you every day, do silly and pointless things together, eat large bowls of ice cream, make silly faces, or just rent every movie you've ever wanted to watch, and take an entire weekend to watch them all at once.(maybe even call in sick to do it.) That way, when they do leave this world, you have plenty of things to smile about.
Take care everyone, and cherish the ones you love.

There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it.
